’Business Gazelles’ Ranking stands for the ranking of the most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises. Its first edition took place in 2000. ‘Gazelle’ is a small or medium-sized company that, thanks to its extremely dynamic development, can handle well even among much larger competitors. The author of the ranking is Coface Poland, a business information provider responsible for verification of the companies financial data.
The ‘Business Gazelles’ Rankings are drawn up annually by business magazines belonging to the Swedish Bonnier Press Group. Besides “Business Pulse”, such reports are compiled by its sister magazines in Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Latvia, Russia, Estonia and Slovenia. The criteria for choosing the Gazelle are tailored to local economic conditions in individual countries, but the goal is still the same: promoting small and medium-sized enterprises.
